Three Mortenson projects were selected for the Finance & Commerce 9th Annual Top Projects Series. The honorees are recognized as Minnesota’s top construction projects for 2015. 4Marq Apartments, Northern Stacks I and Mayo Clinic Square stood out among the more than 100 nominations submitted:

4Marq Apartments is a $64M, 30-story, 262-unit luxury apartment tower located in downtown Minneapolis. It features indoor and outdoor lounge areas and a 360-degree viewing deck.

Northern Stacks I is located minutes from downtown Minneapolis, features 1.75M square feet of build-to-suit space and is the Twin Cities’ largest active in-fill commercial redevelopment.

Mayo Clinic Square, the renovated former Block E space includes Mayo Clinic Sports Medicine and Minnesota Timberwolves/Lynx Headquarters and Practice Facility.  

Top Project submissions were judged for their degree of difficulty, creativity in design, innovative construction techniques, cooperation among contractors and management, and sustainability efforts. Starting in July each Top Project will be featured in the Wednesday and Friday editions of Finance & Commerce.

On Wednesday, October 19th Finance & Commerce will celebrate the Top Projects at a special awards presentation to be held at the Minneapolis Event Center. A magazine showcasing this year’s honorees will be unveiled at the event.
