Trust in the Truth
Have the difficult conversations. Trust is the result of honesty no matter how difficult the path might be to get there. It’s the glue that holds relationships together and creates more successful outcomes for everyone. Some of my strongest partnerships are the result of healthy and respectful conflict and I believe it’s foundational to everything we do personally and professionally. The truth isn’t always easy, but it’s worth the risk.
Run Towards the Fire
Embracing the opportunity to dig into challenging situations is what great leaders live for. Running into the fire take courage and a will for action. We must trust in our voice and not be afraid to take risks. Doing what's right will never be wrong and there is always something to be learned from that experience. It only helps us get better together.
Building a Stronger Community
The built environment impacts the greater good of the community in so many ways – career pipelines, educating future generations, cultural experiences and contributing to the economy. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege to partner with so many customers that have made a difference in my life and the place we call home.
PERSONAL PASSIONS
The biggest change I’d like to see in the world is that a career in construction is socially accepted and applauded. No matter if you're interested in a career in the trades or in project management, we all have the responsibility to create awareness and eliminate economic barriers to achieve lasting success.
