Dave Van Hout has over 30 years in the construction industry and is currently the Estimating Director, where his responsibilities include leading the Energy Storage & Solutions and Green Hydrogen estimating team and services on the groups’ leadership teams. Additionally, he provides estimating management support for Mortenson’s other energy and infrastructure groups including wind, solar, civil, and power delivery.

Dave brings a wide breadth of experience in commercial, water, wastewater, and wind energy and integrates estimating, design phase management, and construction best practices. Known for building teams, Dave has been an integral part in launching Mortenson’s expansion into power delivery, energy storage, and electric vehicle charging infrastructure markets. In total, Dave has been involved in more than $5 billion in projects at Mortenson. He attributes his successes to attention to detail, collaborative approaches, passion, and commitment. ;
